Mickey
Mouse! Donald Duck! Goofy! Horace!
From
1993-2008,
Stefan Petrucha happily chronicled the adventures of Mickey
& Friends for Danish publisher Egmont. His many stories
about Mickey and Donald Duck were written in English, then
translated into 37 languages (including Japanese and Arabic!)
and published all over the globe.
Over
the years Petrucha put Mickey and Donald through all manner
of predicaments, finding lost subways, fighting giant Gingerbread
Men, even uncovering ancient cities beneath their bedrooms.
"We've
seen a few Mickey stories by Petrucha during the last year
or so, and I can easily say that I liked them all. He seems
to have great talent in writing about the mouse; he uses Mickey's
original adventurous mentality and puts it into a modern society.
He also uses a lot of other old characters, and not least:
He invents new plots. Good plots."
